Moradin

The Church of Moradin is one of the few world spanning religions remaining during these dark times. Patriarch Adric is the leader of the church in Haarlem, but has little power outside the city. He has changed the religion significantly in the city, and may end up creating a splintered sub-cult, which could easily lead to vast international conflict if left unchecked.

At this point, however, Patriarch Adric and a few of his chosen followers travel north to the Dwarven stronghold Ruthgar in order to attend the traditional Moradinic Council.

This branch of the church is often considered radical in the other branches, and a few other Patriarchs are even considering reforming the bylaws of the church in order to prevent any non-Dwarven clergy from rising above the level of Cleric. Adric is fighting this discrimination, and is even considering naming a human as his successor.

Until he finds a way to expand that will satisfy him without infuriating a neighboring Patriarch, the church in Haarlem is biding their time and waiting for instructions from Adric.
