Year of the Tiger
The Shearneth Mountains lie due North of Haarlem. To their north is a vast land that was once the Shearneth Empire, but has since fallen into a series of broken and feuding cities and regions. Predominant among these are:
The mountains stretch to the west, growing higher and taller and more impassible, until they sink into the distant Horth Sea.
Shearneth dwindle into the Old Wood as they go east.
The mountain range is never easily passable, but a significant pass does exist almost due north of Haarlem, a small part of the Merchant Road. The road is often besieged by bandits, or occasionally by Sphinxes or Dragons. Merchants travel in massive caravans in order to protect themselves.
